Carryover needs to be carryforward up to employee LOS 2 Years

Summary:

Hi all, I have a requirement where carryforward needs to happen up to 2 years. Once an employee completes two years, the carryover should be zero.

Plan Term: Hire Anniversary

Accrual: Incremental

Period: Monthly Accrual

Any fast formula to achieve this?

1st Year:

Employee Hired: 01/09/2024

Plan Period End: 31/08/2025

Ending Balance: 30(2.5 Monthly Accrual)
Expected Carryover bal : 30

2nd Year:

Plan Period End: 31/08/2026

Ending Balance: 10

Expected Carryover bal : 10

3rd Year:

Plan Period End: 31/08/2027

Ending Balance: 20

Expected Carryover bal : 0
