Two GUIDs in Chrome Developer Tools - Eloqua Landing Page Tracking

Summary:

We have built an Eloqua landing page and are noticing that the landing page visits are being counted twice and at the same time. The page itself has an image, plain text, and an Eloqua Form embedded into it.

In looking into the issue further, we caught that there are two GUID values appearing when we look in the Chrome Developer Tools section at the cookie dropping. The two GUID values appear in Private Mode too. Typically, only 1 GUID value appears.

  • We do not have any external tracking implemented on the page.
  • We cleared our cache, images/files, cookies and tried retesting. Same issue persisted.
