Unable to find prepayment invoice while creating a receipt

This is regarding new feature in release 25B about creating a manual prepayment invoice. I am able to create prepayment invoice and actual sales invoice and apply prepayment invoice to sales invoice. I have below queries:

1. I would like to record the prepayment amount through AR receipt but I don't find the prepayment invoice and sales invoice while creating AR receipt. How to record this amount?
2. Balance of prepayment invoice still shows as original balance even after applying to Sales invoice. Is this balance not supposed to be updated?
3. While creating Rec Activity for prepayment, there is an option of using paid prepayment only or any prepayment. Why a prepayment invoice which is not adjusted against a receipt is allowed to be applied to a sales invoice? Not very clear on this option?
