Ability to Restrict or Hide Absence Attachments After Approval in Fusion HCM
In Oracle Fusion HCM Absence Management, there is currently no standard functionality to restrict or hide attachments once an absence request has been approved by HR or the final approver. For data privacy and compliance purposes, it would be beneficial to have the ability to configure visibility settings for attachments based on the approval status of the absence request.
We propose an enhancement that would allow administrators to:
- Automatically hide or restrict access to attachments once the absence is approved.
- Define role-based or status-based visibility for absence attachments.
- Optionally remove attachments from the UI after a defined workflow stage.
This functionality would help organizations better manage sensitive employee documentation and align with data governance policies.
