Can an OIC domain be changed after the instance is already provisioned?

Summary:

When we have the need to create an OIC instance, we first login into the IAM domain that would be linked to this OIC instance. However, I had faced a situation where customer had created all instances in the OracleIdentityCloudService domain (the one that comes default with an OCI PaaS tenancy) due to lack of knowledge or foresight. Later, due to user access, security demarcation and even environment segregation we wanted to move the respective instances to the new identity domains created specific to environment like dev, uat etc.

This however was not allowed. The only way out was to provision new instance and move all integrations and set up related to confidential app, etc again into the new instance and domain respectively.

Howdy, Stranger!
