Timecards Open for Inactive Employees
Our payroll/finance team recently brought to our attention that timecards are open, and not locked, for for employees that are inactive.
Is this intended and if so, what is the purpose of having these timecards left open? The concern was raised that potentially someone could change the timecard of the inactive employee and create a retroactive payment to a terminated employee.
