Accounting Entries for Customer Accruals in Channel Revenue Management

Below are the accounting entries for the Sell Side Customer Programs:

Accrual Earned and claims in settlement pending status.

How Customer Accruals are Accounted
From the above accounting entries, Accrual liability gets knocked off (considering Exchange gain/loss = 0). So, the final entries are as below:

Sales and Expense - Dr.

Receivables Clearing - Cr.

What happens to these two accounts when the claim is closed? It seems like Receivables Clearing account should also get cleared. There is not enough documentation on that accounting aspect.
