Add Supporting References to CAA for FAH Loaded Subledgers

It would be great if we could include the Supporting References loaded into each FAH subledger as optional columns in the configuration of your CAA subject area. I know that we could extend via the semantic modeler, but to have the option to include from the CAA configuration screen would be much more ideal.

It's a great idea, I am really struggling with a lot of business demands right now, as the supporting references are not available in our CAA subject area.
I have tried a lot of things, been on numerous calls with the Oracle Support, but noone can help me with getting the supporting references extended in to the CAA.
Last answer I got was this:
I got update from internal experts that currently it s not possible via CAA to achieve your customization and not available now.
It is more of enhancement. I would suggest you request for new Enhance to the product management, please post your idea in Oracle Analytics Idea Lab as mentioned in "How To Create An Enhancement Request In Ideas Lab For Oracle Analytics" (Doc ID 2662737.1). So that in future release, consider it via CAA.
We are always trying to improve the product and Product Management has committed to listening to customers in an open and transparent forum.
You can check the Ideas Lab up-vote and add your use case to any existing enhancement request or you can create a new one if it does not exist.
This is the best approach for Product Management to hear your voice and use-case.So what they are basically saying, is that it is not possible to augment or extend the supporting references into the CAA and that I should create an idea, but I can see, that this idea is pretty much the same as mine 😊
You write that you 'know that we could extend via the semantic modeler', but is that really possible and have you managed to achieve it? Or have you found another way around the issue?
Kind regards
Anders

If you don't want to have to do any database development for a custom object, I have gone down the path of creating a union Classic Home Analysis that contains our 5 FAH subledgers and then also bringing in the CAA subject area but distinctly filtering out the transactions for the given FAH subledgers.
