Exciting stuff! Question, do all the OAC updates apply to FAW/FDI deployments as well? Or do those have their own update cadences?

Hi @Patrick Northcraft , in general yes, most of OAC updates will apply to FDI. FDI has is own update cadence, usually one or two months after OAC. You might see most of the updates in the next FDI release. Now, some features requires more work to deploy and might be pushed to another release. We are looking to create a documentation page to demystify this process.

On my side, I can't wait to test OCI AI Video!

Ben has it right. FDI always picks up the latest OAC version, but there is a 1-2 month lag to support regression testing against the FDI content. Typically it’s closer to a month.
There is the odd OAC feature or permission that is not suitable for a Cloud Apps deployment.

Thanks for asking the exact same question I had @Patrick Northcraft 😄
As a quite new FDI OAC customer, it is a bit confusing to see all these fancy new things for OAC, getting totally excited about it, eagerly awaiting the may release and then realising that they are not yet available to FDI customers… 🙃

My last employer was an OAC customer but my current is FDI, so I'm definitely learning the nitty gritty differences between them 🙃
