Invoice Lifecycle Metric in AP subject areas

I am looking for a metric that displays the current stage of the lifecycle for each invoice in the OOTB AP subject areas. I believe that I recall something to this effect being presented previously, but I am not able to find it now. Maybe it's something that is soon to be available if it is not already available?
