Ago Function should also work as expected for datasets blended to a subject area

Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of):
GSO / GBF
Description :
In cases where we use an external file (flat dataset) based dataset which is blended to a subject area, a calculation using the ago() function inside a workbook doesn't yield correct results (unlike the other time series function 'periodrolling()' which does work as expected).
Use Case and Business Need :
This is an important functionality for all DV Developers in any scenario where they are using flat datasets blended to a subject area and would like to create calculations that work dynamically, specially where they need to show KPIs that are easily created using a time series function in general.
This is occurring on CORE Oracle DV Production Instance, with over 2000 Monthly Active Developers and a total of more than 11000 monthly active users.
