There have been many posts regarding this topic over the past 3 years and I'm looking for an understanding of API Options/Capabilities/Limitations for BIP/OTBI Reports as of Nov 2023. Have there been new capabilities/options provided by Oracle in recent years?

1: Is it true that REST APIs are not supported for BIP/OTBI in Fusion?

2: Is it true that SOAP web services are supported for maintenance of both BIP and OTBI reports in Fusion?

3: There have been issues posted by customers regarding the updateObject not updating the complete report object and uploadObject only works for new report creation. Is this still an outstanding issue? Need "Overwrite existing Object" option in BI Web Services — oracle-products

4: Is it possible to upload BIP/OTBI .catalog objects using the SOAP web services?
