I would like to be able to add OAC workbooks and other catalog objects in APEX. In current state OAC, there's not a clean way to build out dashboards with DV content blended with all other options that Oracle provides for reporting. Right now, you can choose to build reports with DV, Answers, OTBI, BI publisher, and APEX. I'm sure I even missed some others. What I would like to have is a connector in an APEX that allows you to pull in the objects from other Oracle reporting systems. In essence, it would create the ability to have a "wrapper" to have a one-stop-shop for all Oracle reporting. I can do this on my own now by doing embedding through java script or iframe but that is less than ideal. If I had the option to drag a DV workbook page on a page region in APEX, then I can have one page that has multiple types of reports. For example, I could have a DV graph and an APEX interactive grid on the same page or just in the same application on different pages. I'm imagining this the way the old OBIEE Answers dashboards could be built. It would just be more inclusive for all types of Oracle reports. And APEX provides more ability to customize and create a company specific analytics site.
