Consumer forum orders PNB Housing Finance to compensate customer for loss of property documents

A Coimbatore consumer commission instructed PNB Housing Finance to compensate a customer. The firm lost Murugesan's original property documents after he settled his loan. Murugesan and his son, Prabhakaran, jointly took a housing loan. The commission directed the firm to obtain a non-traceable certificate. They must also initiate cancellation of the deposit memorandum.
