Oracle and GSA Announce Landmark Partnership
The US General Services Administration (GSA) has reached a landmark agreement with Oracle to reduce the cost of Oracle solutions across the federal government. Oracle is working closely with the GSA to help ensure every federal agency can readily take advantage of its advanced database, cloud, and AI solutions.
OneGov Pricing Model for GSA
The GSA agreement introduces the OneGov Pricing Model, which consolidates purchasing power across the entire government. Instead of individual agencies negotiating separate deals, this model offers volume-based pricing, facilitating significant cost savings and streamlined procurement processes. Immediate cost savings include the following:
- A 75% discount on license-based Oracle technology, including database, integration, security, and analytics solutions
- $0.33 in rewards for every $1 spent on eligible Oracle Cloud services, which can be used to pay down Oracle technology and technical support bills, even down to zero
- No data egress fees for moving existing workloads from Oracle Government Cloud to another cloud service provider’s FedRAMP Moderate, High, or DOD IL 4 or 5 cloud

Learn about Oracle Cloud for US government, defense, and intelligence
Learn how Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) offers high performance at dramatically lower prices than any cloud service provider in the federal market. You’ll get a full cloud wherever you need it—from the data center to the edge—with embedded AI integrated throughout the entire stack.
-
Predictable, transparent pricing across all services (FedRAMP through Top Secret)
Unlike other cloud service providers that charge more for government cloud regions, OCI offers government entities the same cloud consumption pricing as in its public regions, with no price increase for higher security classification environments. For example, whether you’re running a workload in OCI’s public Ashburn, Virginia, region or in Oracle’s Top Secret region, the price of services is the same. For more details, please read this blog.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure simply costs less
50% less for compute, 70% less for block storage, 80% less for networking
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure allows customers to save consistently compared with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Even with complicated and overlapping discount programs, other clouds are still more expensive than regular OCI pricing. -
Oracle Cloud services available on existing federal contracts
Federal agencies can purchase Oracle Cloud services quickly and easily through the existing contract vehicles. These contracts provide federal civilian, defense, and intelligence community agencies with access to Oracle’s Generation 2 Enterprise Cloud and its comprehensive cloud computing services portfolio.
